Basic Function:
Primary responsibility is to audit all hospitality outlet transactions daily in an organized manner that can be easily recalled for reporting purposes and printing of all appropriate reports. Assist Guest Services Supervisor with billing duties. In addition will check guests in and out and provide guest services in a polite and efficient manner.
Essential Duties:
- Complete an audit of all hospitality outlet transactions
- Perform a daily close and back-up of computer system
- Register and check out hotel guests
- Direct telephone calls and take messages as necessary
- Post charges as necessary
- File and print all necessary reports
- Respond to emails in a polite and professional manner
- Work with Guest Services Supervisor to provide backup billing assistance
- Maintain a safe working environment in accordance with company policy by closely monitoring the safe use of equipment and work habits in and around the work area. Responsible for staying updated on current company policies as they relate to safety.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years front desk experience with at least 6 months as a Night Auditor
- Experience with Opera PMS
- Basic bookkeeping and audit experience
- Computer skills preferred
- Must possess good communication and organizational skills as well as excellent customer service skills
- Professional appearance and manner required
- Ability to interact in a positive manner with diverse cultures in a team environment
This is an hourly non-exempt position with a rate of $18.00 – $21.65 per hour.
