Basic Function
Performs duties in processing seafood with a higher level of skill including fish grading, tallying, sawing, filleting, and equipment operation.
Essential Duties:
- Grades and differentiates between all species of fish with a general understanding of quality specifications.
- Follows proper documentation procedures for related production jobs. This includes box tallies and production orders.
- Performs cutting procedures properly for various products in a productive and efficient manner. Ability to use saw, knife, and other production equipment properly.
- Uses a knife for removal of belly, bones, collars, fins, and undercuts for filleting.
- Operates all equipment pertaining to production. Ensures safe and efficient operation while adhering to production guidelines for quality and quantity.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in physical general labor jobs.
- Must be able to manually lift and move product weighing up to 50 pounds. Production room is 50 degrees or colder; floor can be wet.

- Must be able to work 6:00AM – 4:30PM, Monday – Thursday.
This is an hourly non-exempt position with the starting pay of $18.60 per hour. The wage range for this position is $18.60 – $21.10.
