Basic Function:
Perform a variety of administrative functions as related to shipping and receiving, accurate calculation of inbound and products into the warehouse, provide backup to warehouse operations and customer service.
Essential Duties:
- Responsible for receiving and tallying all inbound products into the warehouse management system
- Collection and entry of all information pertaining to inbound shipments, including order creations
- Maintain accurate inventories of packaging, ingredients and supplies
- Check in drivers to shipping and receiving office
- Utilize computer equipment to accurately input all data. Print appropriate labels for finished pallets. Utilize inventory print outs to meet shipping and receiving needs
- Create labels as requested for outbound orders
- Accept and document packages and deliveries made to the facility
- Provide back-up to Warehouse Operations Supervisor
- Work with Customer Service Team as needed
- Other warehouse duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
- High school, plus additional training or specialized training
- Minimum 1-2 years experience, previous Shipping and Receiving experience preferred.
- Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- May have occasional (10%) exposure to undesirable elements including refrigerated loading dock and freezers. Loading dock and freezer floors may be wet or icy.
This is a salary non-exempt position with a wage range of $ 52,386 -$ 57,395 per year.
